How the AMC exam calendar actually works

The AMC runs two separate exams on different schedules, so "when is the AMC exam" depends which one you mean:

• AMC 1 (CAT MCQ) is a computer-based test delivered at Pearson VUE test centres. It's typically offered across recurring testing windows through the year rather than a single fixed date, so there's more flexibility in when you sit it.
• AMC 2 (Clinical Exam) is scheduled in a smaller number of sittings per year, at specific host locations, and seats are limited - so booking early matters more here than for AMC 1.
